Civil Engineering Students Secure 1st Runner-Up at Concrete Catalyst 2026

Patel, the team delivered a compelling presentation on "Quality Control Test: Cube Strength, UPV, Rebound Hammer, and Core Sampling," showcasing a perfect blend of theoretical depth and practical innovation. Our Principal, Dr. B. J. Shah, and HOD, Dr. Neelam J. Dalal, commended the students for their technical excellence and for bringing pride to the Patan district. Dr. Hiteshf N. Panchal Listed Among Top 2% Scientists Worldwide (2025)

The Computer Science & Engineering Department, Government Engineering College Patan, proudly announces that Dr. Hitesh N. Panchal, faculty member, has been recognized among the Top 2% Scientists worldwide for the year 2025, as per the Stanford–Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List (Single Year Data). Dr. Panchal has achieved a global rank of 4306 in the Main Field of Enabling & Strategic Technologies and Sub-field: Energy, with an H-index of 31. This prestigious global recognition is based on standardized, verified data published by Elsevier in collaboration with Stanford University, acknowledging researchers with significant scholarly impact and citation excellence. This achievement reflects Dr. Panchal’s sustained contribution to high-quality research and brings distinction to the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Government Engineering College Patan. Dr. Hitesh N. Panchal, Successfully Completes AICTE–QIP PG Certificate Programme

Dr. Hitesh N. Panchal, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Department, has successfully completed the AICTE–QIP Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Advanced Metallic Alloys for Energy Storage Applications conducted by SVNIT, Surat during June–December 2025. The programme carried 18 credits, and Dr. H.N.Panchal secured an outstanding CGPA of 10.0 with A+ grade in all courses, demonstrating strong academic excellence and professional competence.

Out of only two NSS Volunteers selected from Gujarat our Student and NSS Volunteer Abhishek H. Mehta was selected for Independence Day Ceremony 2025 going to organised from 13th to 15th August 2025 at Red Fort, New Delhi. The selection took place a rigorous interview process among the representatives of many Universities of Gujarat. Abhishek's Contribution in Youth Development and Empowerment, Social Awareness Drives, and Experiential Learning Program led him to this achievement.
